About Jeannette

Jeannette M. Schreiber, L.Ac. is a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, and nutritional therapist, and is the founder of East West Health Clinic.

Jeannette has been studying nutrition and natural health care since 1995. She graduated from Five Branches Institute in Santa Cruz, California with a Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine (MTCM) in 2006. She is licensed by the California Acupuncture Board, and has been designated a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. In addition to clinical study in California, she studied at the ZheJiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Hangzhou, China.

She has continued post-graduate studies of both Oriental and Functional Medicine, including topics such as: female hormones; detoxification; and digestion. She received a certificate for nutritional studies from the Nutritional Therapy Association, and completed a year of training in Japanese Meridian Therapy from Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College (AIMC). In addition to studying with several Japanese masters of acupuncture, she has studied with senior practitioners such as Jake Fratkin, OMD, an expert in the integration of Oriental and Functional medicines; Randine Lewis, PhD, MSOM, an expert in fertility and reproductive health; and Michael Dobbins, DC, an expert in the field of nutritional medicine.

Jeannette is co-host of The New Medicine Show, a regular program on KKUP 91.5 FM. She is a professional member of the American Association of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (AAAOM), the California State Oriental Medical Association (CSOMA), Blossom Birth, and Bay Area Birth Information (BABI). She is also a member of the Weston A. Price Foundation. She serves the San Jose, Saratoga, Los Gatos, Campbell, and Cupertino communities from her office in West San Jose.

Jeannette is committed to improving the quality of people’s lives through holistic health care, and she enjoys helping people achieve vibrant health and optimal well being. By using the best of both eastern and western methods for natural healing, Jeannette provides a comprehensive approach to wellness.
