After experienceing the agonizing grief of two miscarriages, I was shocked to hear from my doctor that it was "common" and that only after three or more losses should I go for testing.
Heartbroken and frustrated, I decided to try acupuncture. I was referred to Jeannette Schreiber and started regular acupuncture treatments. Jeannette also analyzed my eating habits and sent my saliva and hair samples to be tested. We discovered I had estrogen dominance due to years of taking birth control. I started making simple changes such as drinking more water, eating more protein, and taking herbal supplements. My husband and I tried to get pregnant and the second attempt worked! I am now eight months pregnant and I have had a wonderful pregnancy. My blood was so healthy I didn't even need an amniocentesis! Jeannette has been treating me for just over one year. In that time she has been able to improve my quality of life in a multitude of ways: knee and back pain are regularly diminished and often disappear completely for long periods of time; digestive issues have been eliminated; physical balance has been restored; shoulder pain is gone; hand numbness has been reduced to just one finger. I was a bit skeptical about acupuncture, particularly since I don’t like needles. However, at one point I was having a problem with the middle finger of my left hand. I couldn’t straighten it out and the palm of my hand where it flexed was aching constantly. After three weeks of continuous aching, I went to Jeannette to see if acupuncture could help. This was my first experience of acupuncture. She was very patient and professional in using techniques to make it a positive experience. At first I didn’t feel any difference. But 30 minutes after the treatment, I realized that the palm of my hand had stopped hurting. And the pain never came back. My finger continued to improve over the next weeks and months, so that gradually I could straighten it more and more until it was as it had been before the problem started. This was with just one treatment. In addition, Jeannette has helped cure a number of other aches and pains. She seems to know exactly where and how to treat whatever the ailment.
